Spring 2015 MCAL CHAMPIONS!
With much making up to do from Monday Night's "A" Division Playoff debacle with player eligibility, tonight's final made up for all of the stuff! We had a "A" Division Final for the ages, with Overtime. A big comeback, Players fouling out, and injured player playing on one leg, back and forth action and of course high energy! In a game that was a two point game at half, with The Grasshopper leading the way, it took The Grasshopper's Brandon, Manny and Corey to give Swamp Squads Hazel, Brian d, and Brian B all they could handle as the game went to Overtime to determine a Champion! In the end, The Grasshopper went home with the first place trophy as the beat the Swamp Squad 81-77 in an overtime thriller!
The B Divison Games was equally exciting as Pick 1 had started out with a cold hand, yet Team Klitch was converting on three's at an alarming rate! Klitch's 3 point sharpe shooter Harry hit for 6 three's and ended with 24 points, as then Pick 1's Louis got started! Back and forth with the three point shots as both teams lived and died with the three pointer. Pick One's very balanced attack, was not enough in the end as Team Klitch hoisted thier first everr MCAL Title. Once again it was a great night for MCAL Basketball!!

Please be reminded that for a Player to be PLAYOFF ELIGIBLE they must have played in 5 regular season games. There is no waiver to this rule. All players will be checked and verified prior to play. If a team has a concern, they must ask for the game to play under protest.
All Players MUST have a Uniform Shirt with a Number on it for the playoffs...No Shirt..No Play!
It has been a great season with most teams involved until the very last week! Congrats to all teams! Our Summer Season tips off June 15th..amd we are a sellout for the Summer Season!
The Fall Season begins Wednesday, September 9th with 7 Monday Games and 3 Wednesday Night Games! We always sell out, so reserve early!
