The 2015 Winter Season Champions - Center Grove's Finest!
The fans (and there were many) that came out to witness the 2015 Winter Season Championship Game between the 2 seed..Old As Dirt and the 6th seed, Center Grove's Finest were treated to a classic match. A game that went back and forth in the early going where Old As Dirt took off with a 12 - 4 lead. Center Grove then evened the score at 22 all and it was a back and forth game all evening. As the first half came to a close, the hot shooting of Center Grove's MVP, Jack, hit for 8 points in what seemed like 30 seconds and Center Grove took a 31 - 26 halftime lead going into the intermission.
The second half started and Old As Dirt took off with a 6 - 0 run and it was Old As Dirt with a short lead with 5 minutes gone into the second half. Once again back and forth until Center Grove's Chip hit for three three's in a row as Center Grover roared back in the lead. It was such a clean game a pleasure to watch as the short bench of Old As Dirt led to their demise as Center Grove pulled away in the last few minutes and ended with a 67 - 56 victory! It was Center Grove's second title in a row, as they were our Fall Season Champs and now repeat champions! Ceneter Grove's Jack and League MVP led all scorers with 26 as John, Rob and Kyle had 15 each in a losing effort!
All players received their hardware after the contest and teams were very satisfied for a job well done! Great stuff by both sides and congrats to our 2015 Winter Season Champions - Center Grove's Finest!!
